《Zhejiang of 7000 Years》displays nearly a century's Zhejiang historic relics from 1840's Opium War till 1949's establishment of People's Republic of China, showing lasting resistance spirit of Zhejing people towards intrusion and feudualism, which is divided into: Resist Foreign Intrusion, Xinhai Revolution, Spark Enlighting the Plain, Land Revolution, Japanese Resistance War and Liberation War etc.
I Resist Foreign Intrusion
　　After the Opium War broke out in 1840, China' independence, territory and state dignity has been trampled severely. China began falling into semi-colony and semi-feudal society and the existence danger of distinguishment appeared. Zhejiang people rose to risist the intrusion of superpowers of the occident and have done many striking deeds. Three officers of Dinghai Ge Yunfei, Wang Xipeng and Zhen Guohong struggled bravely and died proudly; And the garrison Wu Jie commanded calmly and led the Qing Army to defeat the French Army, won the sole victory since Opium War. Those spirit will last forever and be respected forever.
　　This part of display adopts modernized scientific measures, including technologies such as audio, video and illustration etc. With strong times atmosphere and influence, it has been greatly popular among the audience.
II Xinhai Revolution:
　　Xinghai revolution is the first try of Bourgeois class in Chinese history. It overthrew Qing Dynasty and ended feudalism's more than 2000-year ruling over China. From Zhejiang-Anhui uprising initiation to restoration of Zhejiang, a large number of Zhejiang personage such as Xu Xilin, Qiu Jing, Tao Chengzhang, Zhang Taiyan and Cai Yuanpei have devoted themselves actively to revolution, and meeting the establishment of Republic of China. However, up-and-down dated democratic revolution ended tragically in history due to its limitation, though it has overthrown Qing Dynasty.
　　Qiu Jin, coming from Shaoxing of Zhejiang, is a neoteric outstanding revolutionist, and the forerunner of Chinese Women Liberation Movement. She studied in Japan early, played an active part in the movement of anti-Qing Dynasty and founded earliest popular women journal 《Chinese Women》. While scheming for uprising, Qing Jiu has been arrested by the Qing Government and put to death at Xuantingkou of Shaoxing County. She is the first devoting life and shedding blood for revolution of Chinese women prior to Xinhai revolution. The exhibition hall displays her favorite huge portrait and uses waxwork symbolically to restore her painstaking efforts for revolution, vividly and lifelike.
III Sparkle Enlightening
　　October Revolution has brought in the spring wind of communism. “First Congress”Jiaxing South Lake Conference declared grandly that China Communist Party has come into being, and it unified the vast public to stand out all oppress.
　　During the period of Land Revolutiion, Chinese Communist Party launched and initiated farmer rising. Thirteenth Red Army and Central Pioneer Troop has been founded, who created the new route of the countryside encircling the city and up in arms taking over the old regime. Simple knives, wooden seals on show reproduced the hard journey of the revolution.
　　During the Anti-Japanese War, Chinese Communist Party gave priority to the Welfare of the people and built unified battlefront against Japanese intrusion. In Zhejiang, two bases of Eastern Zhejiang and Western Zhejiang have been exploited in succession. Of course, Chinese people finally obtained victory after long lasting battles. In the center of exhibition hall, a batch of guns and canons used by Zhejiang people at war time have been displayed. These rough guns and canons have defeated the finely equipped Japanese army. The audience is attracted, there are filled with patriotism and national pride.
　　The Anti-JapaneseWar succeeded, the Guomingdang started domestic war aggressively, setting Chinese people in sufferings. Under extremely hard conditions, the Communist Party led Zhejiang People to strive against Guomingdang, and receiving Zhejiang liberation in May 1949.
　　A sparkle is strong enough to start burning of the plain. Experiencing centuries' depression and hardships, Zhejiang people has met their new epoch. After that, Zhejiang enters into a brand-new historic period.
