Sha Menghai Memorial Hall, located at 15 Longyou Road, Hangzhou, is the former residence of this Chinese leading calligrapher. Its main building is a 2-storied wood-and-brick villa.
　　The Zhejiang Museum keeps a vast collection of Sha's calligraphic and epigraphic works presented by his family. His calligraphy features a combination of the Jin and Tang technique and the Ming and Wing vigor. It is also an ideal integration of stone inscriptions and model calligraphy. Based on the calligraphic tradition, Sha's style is primitive and simple, and virile and vigorous.
