Zhejiang Provincial Museum Web, initiated in September 2001, launched its revision in October 2002 and will have it completed in August 2003. After revision, the web will be characterized by:
　　(I) This web bases upon our museum and serves the whole society. It gathers information including website news, collection data and exhibition data from all cultural relics institutions of Zhejiang, so as to enrich web information and resources on the one hand and make our Museum leader in web construction of provincial cultural relics museum system on the other, sharing more online practical platforms and resources with them.
　　(II) Boost up web functions. Our web has changed from static illustration to interaction, with platforms including “Products Show”, “Exhibition Exchange”, “E-shop” and “Online Evaluation”developed.
　　(III) Try online exhibition exchange. We merge Online Evaluation, Products Show and Online Trade into one, making exhibition communication more convenient among institutions of same trade.
　　(IV) Online service. We open online “Member Club”, which offers different services to ordinary members and unit members; “Leisure Service”, which allows web surfers to buy journals, handicrafts and imitation historic relics online; and “Message Board”which facilitates communication between us and our audience.
